I watched a youtube of a ship and I saw the command "take command" and "leave command" being used at sea but I have pushed every key I have and nothing will let me stop being in control of the ship. In the default key mode the magic key is E. Because I made several changes in the key bindings including "interact" to another key it won't work. I programmed E to button 4 on my mouse and I use that for every interaction in the game which includes the elusive take and leave command.
